April flowers

This month I still have dahlias and roses. The chrysanthemums are opening peachy orange, though to my relief they fade as the season progresses. Spiky pink nerines have unfurled amongst the cosmos foliage, and the hydrangea fades to a vintage tone.

The weather has been crisp at times but we are still having plenty of warm days. The garden is enjoying itself right now...

  3. What a beautiful collage! All the pinks and yellows go so well together. I've never grown dahlias, but I love the look of them - all the different ones! And your rose is beautiful.

    1. I do think dahlias are good value, they just keep on going! Of course you can't beat a beautiful rose either.

  4. I wish my garden had an inkling of these blooms! Nothing even close I'm afraid! They all look beautiful though!
