Yours are lovely, and I love the look of them floating in a bowl with camellia blooms. You aren't going to believe this - I barely can - but my hellebores are still blooming - at the height of our summer! I hope it doesn't hurt them and that they will bloom again this winter!HolleyGardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14892421871044249940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717193444096849836.post-15253795365479200322013-07-25T13:34:55.217+12:002013-07-25T13:34:55.217+12:00Hellebores and camellias -- what a beautiful combi...Hellebores and camellias -- what a beautiful combination! I actually have one hellebore in my London garden that flowers twice a year, once in the winter and once again in the summer! It does that almost every year and I just spotted the first bud of its summer flowers the other day, seems like I will get summer flowers this year too. None of my other hellebores does this so this one is quite special. Since it is so hot here right now the flowers don't last very long, and they don't set seed, perhaps the right insects aren't around - it is 5 months too later after all!<br />Loved your bowl of hellebores and camellia, I often do that too!HELENEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16112289914239038835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8717193444096849836.post-45254947668704128472013-07-23T13:06:22.632+12:002013-07-23T13:06:22.632+12:00The combination of camellias and hellebores, how l...The combination of camellias and hellebores, how lovely!
